On 5th July, we had a visit from our local constabulary. Class 1 children learned all about the equipment that Police Officers carry around and why they used them. 

After the interactive, informative question-and-answer session, children then went out to see the police car which was great fun.

This experience has helped our children understand more of what the Police do and why they make up part of our local hero’s team. We learn school rules but thinking about rules in our wider community is also important. Thank you to all our local heroes in the police force.
