Special Educational Needs and Disabilities: Provision at Wymondham CE Primary School
At Wymondham we are a fully inclusive school; we recognise every pupils right to a broad and balanced curriculum and we celebrate diversity. Teachers and support staff are highly skilled at supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in class and identifying those that require further support.
We follow the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Code of Practice 0-25 yrs, which came into effect in September 2014, ensuring that all pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities are supported, to make the best possible progress in school. We ensure that all children are included in all areas of the curriculum, with the needs of SEND pupils carefully considered.
Wymondham works as a school and with Leicestershire Local Authority to provide for children with SEND. Mrs Cahill (SENDCo) and Mr Beadle (Senior Teacher) are responsible for ensuring provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). If you have any questions, please feel free to contact via office@wymondham.risemat.co.uk or 01572 787658.
