A warm welcome from our Executive Head teacher
These are very special years for our children and families. We want your time with us to provide some of the best memories ever.
Memories of warmth, care, love and respect.
Memories of laughter, friendship, fun and happiness.
Memories of new experiences, exciting opportunities and success.
Memories of ‘Achievement through Enjoyment and Excellence’.
Memories that will last a lifetime.
On behalf of our whole school, I’d like to warmly welcome you to Wymondham Church of England Primary School.
This website is designed to give you details of our aims, how we try to achieve them and to answer your questions about the day-to-day organisation and routines of our school. We want it to reflect the joy that is our wonderful school and we hope you find it helpful and informative. Please contact us if you have any further queries.
We would love you to visit us and see for yourself some of the exciting learning opportunities on offer, the enthusiasm of our children and the commitment of our staff team.
You can also visit our Twitter page @teamwymondham or our facebook page (search Wymondham CE Primary School and look for our windmill logo) for current news of learning at our school.
I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you in to our school family.
With very best wishes,
Mrs Julie Hopkins
We value external views made about our school: “Leaders have improved the school and the curriculum. They have a clear vision for how they want to develop the school further. The school is very well led and managed.. Staff say they are proud to work in the school. Pupils say they are kept safe in school and there is no bullying. They say, ‘We look after each other.’ Parents commented on the caring staff. They say the school has ‘a happy family atmosphere’."
We strive to promote a love for learning and as such a high percentage of pupils at Wymondham continue to meet their expected standard in reading, writing and maths at a rate above the national and local authority average. The school has maintained these results for the past three years.
